To work with this recipe we need to prepare ingredients including for feeling: 1 box (1 lb 6,25 oz Betty Crocker™ Supreme original brownie mix, Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box) and for Filling 1/.4 cup butter, softened, 5 oz cream cheese, softened, ¼ cup heavy whipping cream, 4 cups powdered sugar, 1/5 to ½ tea spont mint extract, 3 drops liquid green food colors. For topping we need ½ cup heavy whipping cream, ½ cup butter, 1 bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups).
As all ingredients ready we can proceed to step by step directions. First heat oven to 35F and grease the bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan whit cooking spray. Make brownies mix as suggested for 13 x 9 inch pan and cool completely about 1 ½ hours. Next beat softened butter and cream cheese in a large bowl using medium speed electric mixer until smooth. Add ¼ cup whipping cream and beat until well blended then slowly add powdered sugar. Beat until fluffy and add mint extract and food color blend them well. Spread over the cooled brownies and refrigerate about 1 hour or until set.
Meanwhile heat topping ingredients in nonstick 2 quart saucepan over medium to low heat, stir constantly until smooth and melted. Cool for about 10 minutes or until lukewarm. Then pour topping over filling and spread it to cover brownies. Refrigerate the uncovered for about2 hours or until set. Before cutting, let it cool at room temperature for about 20 mintues. For brownies, cut into 9 x 4 rows and store covered in refrigerator.
