Chocolate fondue is great cake everyone likes. It has perfect combination of sweet and bitter tastes in one blend. Many recipes are available as many as lists appear when we type keywords on Google. Each recipe has unique mixtures and methods in addition to various ingredients to bring in. To improve the fresh and sweet taste we can add fruits ranging from strawberries, apple to banana. Two of such recipes we can try at home are following.
To work whit this first recipe, prepare all ingredients as follow: 8 ounces heavy cream (scalded), 8 ounces good dark chocolate, chopped (not below 60 percent cocoa, recommended: Valrhona), Orange liqueur (recommended: Grand Marnier), Marshmallows, strawberries, pound cake, dried apricot/mango/papaya, (for serving) and 1 stick butter, room temperature.
As these ingredients ready, melt the chocolate completely in a double boiler. Add to a medium bowl the cream and pour in the chocolate. Whisk this mixture very slowly until shiny and elastic emulsion has been created. Whisk in the butter and for better taste add the liqueur until well mixed. Next, pour the mixture into fondue pot and use fondue forks to dip our bites.
Otherwise, we can try this dark chocolate fondue recipe. First prepare ingredients needed including
1 cup heavy cream, 1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels, 1/2 stick unsalted butter, 1 (12-ounce) package milk chocolate morsels, and for dipping: sliced bananas, apples, strawberries, pretzels, crisp cookies, and cubed pound cake.
As these ingredients ready, combine butter and cream in a large saucepan using medium heat. Put the mixture to a simmer and stirring constantly. Remove the pan from heat and add semisweet and milk chocolate morsels. Stir the mixture until smooth and melted before cool it slightly. Transfer the cooled mixture into chafing dish, fondue pot or ceramic bowl. It is best to serve immediately with sliced bananas, sliced apples, cookies, strawberries, pretzels and pound cake.
