It is one of most favorite desserts to serve with all family member. The taste is great and many variants are available both for grab and go from stores or markets and to make at home with numerous recipes. Some people like to use chocolate fudge frosting or dark chocolate to blend well with other tasty ingredients.
Working on chocolate Éclair dessert at home is not too difficult. The ingredients needed are widely available too. For one recipe we need to gather following: 3 cups milk, 2 Jello Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix (small packages), 8 ounces non-dairy whipped topping, 1 (15 ounce) container chocolate frosting, 1 (16 ounce) box graham crackers (surely we will have some leftovers).
As these ingredients ready, follow the directions step by step. First, mix vanilla pudding mix and milk in a bowl. Then fold in whipped topping. Line 9 x 13 pan using one layer of graham crackers. Put over the graham crackers half of pudding mixture and place second layer of graham crackers onto the pudding mixture. Continue to put remaining pudding mixture over graham crackers and do this until the third layer of graham crackers has been put over the pudding mixture.
Next, heat the frosting tub in microwave until become soft for about 30 seconds. (Important to remove foil seal to avoid fireworks). Spread on the top of last layer of graham crackers the frosting. Then cover with using plastic wrap and let it for several hours or overnight in the refrigerator. The last, cut in squares.
Adding some other ingredients deserve to try for example cinnamon, mint or fruit flavors. However it is good to make the chocolate taste dominant upon all ingredients. The sweetness level can be adjusted by considering how much sweet ingredients we put in the recipe. Finally, decorating the dessert will be fun and challenging. Just put an effort to be skillful in shaping original looks before trying the new and more creative one.
