Chocolate-Covered Pretzels are great cookies we can serve for special moments like Christmas or parties. When such moments are about to come the stores and markets put them as mandatory list to put on their shelves. Many variants are available and so do the brands. However, many families are enthusiastic to make them at home. Some get the recipes from books or Google but some other have created their own recipes even for generations.

This time we will present the chocolate covered pretzels with sprinkles. Before we start, prepare all ingredients needed including 24 large pretzel rods, 1 12-ounce package white chocolate chips, 1 12-ounce package milk chocolate chips, and assorted holiday sprinkles.

As these ingredients ready follow step by step of the directions. First, put milk chocolate chips and white chocolate chips in different microwave safe bowl. Then microwave one bowl on high level for about 1 minute, remove and stir using rubber spatula where the chip should melt when we are stirring. However, some chocolate chips might not melt easily so we can solve this problem by keep microwaving for about 15 seconds more and stir again. Next, microwave the other bowl on high level for 1 minute as previously and stir until the chocolate is perfectly melted (don’t forget to wash the rubber spatula used before).

Dip into the milk chocolate one pretzel rod; use a spoon or butter knife to spread the chocolate halfway. Twist to remove the excess of chocolate on the rod. Hold the rod on piece of wax paper and shake with sprinkles on all sides. Then put pretzel to dry on another piece of wax and put another pretzel and coat it with white chocolate and sprinkles. Repeat this steps until all pretzels have been coated with milk chocolate and white chocolate equally and let it to dry completely for about 24 hours.
