To make chocolate covered Oreo cookies cake we can try this recipe. First, gather all ingredients including 4 squares BAKER’S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, 1 package devil’s food cake mix, ¼ c. butter, 1 package Philadelphia Cream Cheese, ½ c. sugar, 12 Oreo cookies 2 c. COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
As these ingredients ready, follow step by step of the directions. First, preheat oven to 350 F and prepare the cake batter and bake in 2 round pans (9 inch). Cool the cakes in pans for about 10 minutes and invert onto the wire racks and as they are cooling, remove the pans gently. By this way we can cool cakes thoroughly.
Put the chocolate in microwave and butter it in a small microwaveable bowl for 2 minutes on high speed where the butter would be melted. Keep stirring the chocolate until it is completely melted. Next, cool for about 5 minutes while we can beat sugar and cream cheese in a large bowl to blend them well using a mixer. Stir gently in Cool Whip and crushed cookies.
Put 1 cake layer on plate and spread with the cream cheese mixture. Then top them with remaining cake layer and spread the top with chocolate glaze; let it cool for 10 minutes until it turns to firm and keep refrigerated. By this recipe one cake will be enough for 16 servings.
