However, we can make it at home and some people found this way more interesting and challenging. In addition, the ingredients needed are readily available. Curious? Just check the recipe below.

First prepare ingredients including 16 slices applewood smoked bacon, thick cut, 12 ounces semisweet or milk chocolate, chopped, 4 ounces white chocolate or almond bark, chopped,. As these ingredients ready, do following instruction.

First cook the bacon until it is crispy whether in a pan on stove or on a foil lined pan at 400 degrees oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Afterwards, remove the cooked bacon onto paper towels to drain and cool it. Cut each strip in half. Next melt semi sweet or milk chocolate in a double boiler or in microwave for 30 seconds, stir after each addition then whisk until perfectly smooth.

Next put the bacon on a fork and dunk it into semisweet chocolate and make sure it to be completely coated. Tap the fork gently against the bowl side to let the excess drip off and lay on parchment or waxed paper lined quarter sheet tray. Do the same to all remaining bacon slices.

Melt in a microwave for 30 seconds or until melted the white chocolate or almond bark. Bear in mind not to overheat to prevent it to be seized. Drizzle over the chocolate covered bacon and put the sheet tray in refrigerator for about 20 to 30 minutes. The last touch is removing them from the sheet tray into serving dish and it is ready to serve.
