Ingredients to prepare include 3 tablespoons sugar, 1 cup crushed chocolate wafer crumbs and 3 tablespoons butter, melted. For filling gather 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened, 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, 2 large eggs, lightly beaten, 2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 3/4 cup sugar and strawberries and white chocolate shavings (optional).

As these ingredients ready, follow step by step of directions. First, stir in butter with combined sugar and cookie crumbs in small bowl. Press the mixture onto bottom part of greased 9 in spring form pan and set aside. Melt chocolate chips in microwave and stir until smooth, then set aside. Next beat sugar, cream cheese and flour in a large bowl until smooth. Add eggs in low beating until combined well. Stir in melted chocolate and vanilla until well blended and pour the filling over crust.

Bake the mixture at 350F for about 40 to 45 minutes until the center nearly set. Cool for 10 minutes in a wire rack and use knife around pan edge to loosen; cool 1 hour more and refrigerate overnight. We can garnish the slices with chocolate shavings or strawberries (or both) and refrigerate the leftovers. This recipe yields 12 servings.
