Chocolate cake always be everyone favorite to serve as desserts or as birthday cake. There are so many recipes available with countless testimonies to support their superior taste. In addition, we can get such cakes at many stores and markets. However making chocolate cake from scratch at home by ourselves is not only challenging but also giving a lot of fun. Following is one of such recipes.
To make this recipe gather following ingredients: 2 c. all-purpose flour, 3 eggs at room temperature, 3/4 cup soft butter, 3/4 cup cocoa, 3/4 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt. 2 tsp vanilla and 1 1/2 cup milk
As these ingredients ready follow step by step of the instructions. First, preheat oven to 350 F and grease pan’s bottom. Beat butter for about half minute and add sugar slowly, Add eggs 1 at a time and beat after each addition then beat in vanilla. Add dry ingredients after each addition. Then add ½ of milk and beat again. Add ½ remaining and beat until all being blended well.
Spread the batter evenly into the pans. Afterwards, bake for about 30 to 34 minutes for round pans or 5 minutes longer for 9 by 13 pan. The process is done as the knife comes clean from the center. However the time might be different do to difference of pans, ovens and elevation. Other method we can do is mixing dry ingredients and wet one in different bowls and stirring them together. Be sure the cake dry enough on the edges by not removing too soon.
At top we can put toppings using ingredients ranging from fruits like cherry, berry, apple to peanuts and more crispy one. Also we can make frosting or spreading sprinkle of sugars or chocolate at once. It is not too difficult to have great taste by such recipes but the more challenging is to present the cakes with as best as possible looks.
